i wrecked my 90 2+2 the ONLY time i ever even drove it in the rain.. wasnt my fauly though.. some airhead bitch ran a stop light.
anyway
if its 140k+ miles they'll want to give you around um.. 6500$ what i did was pay 750, keep the car... and if $5500 isnt enough to keep it and fix it ewnough to cover up the wreck and sell it.. then its in VERY bad shape..
LOOK FOR FRAME DAMMAGE THOUGH!!
if theres any frame dammage, take the money and runbut if not.. yea throw 1000 in used parts, another 750 for a cheap paint job and sell the car for whatever.. leaving you what you sold the car for plus an extra 3 or 4 thousand dollars that you'll end up paying to the insurance company over a period of a few years since your rates ona sports car are about to explode.
